The General Assembly (GA) is the top level decision making body of the APSS. It makes major decisions and policy framework in every three year. Annual Conference takes place every year to assess and pass the Annual Progress Report (APR), approves the financial statement and annual programmes. The General Assembly elects the Central Executive Committee (CEC) for three-year tenure. The CEC is the chief executive body of the APSS consist of a President, two Vice-Presidents, a General Secretary, a Secretary, a Treasurer and five Members. To execute the GA mandate and programmes the CEC takes advices from an Advisory Committee (AC) which is elected by GA for three years.
There are different Sub-Committees (SC) under the CEC with separate rights, responsibilities and duties. There are Programme Director, Programme Coordinator, Administrative/Account Officer, Office Assistant and Support Person to systematically support the CEC to make and implement the policy and programmes and day to day administrative jobs. |
